TSA Announces New Members of the Surface Transportation Security Advisory Committee

January 2023

OVERVIEW: Daniel Krantz, Managing Partner of Secure Worker Access Consortium (SWAC), was appointed as a voting member of the Surface Transportation Security Advisory Committee (STSAC) by TSA Administrator Pekoske.

Having previously served the committee as a Subject Matter Expert to the Insider Threat Subcommittee, and drawing from more than 15 years of security industry leadership, Mr. Krantz will continue contributing unique expertise to help the committee fulfill its mission. "It has been a great privilege to work with committee members the last few years, and it's my greatest career honor to receive this official appointment. We hope the experience we have gained helping to protect NY's high-value terrorist targets and transportation infrastructures continues to help establish more broadly accepted security best practices throughout the country.", said Mr. Krantz.
