Inclement Weather Notifications

If there is a chance of inclement weather that has an effect on operations at our processing centers, SWAC will place a notification on the Bulletin Board in the SWAC database as well as on the SWAC website announcing any changes to our schedule. Please be sure to check these notifications before you take a chance on reporting to the Processing Center. If you need any further information, please contact our Customer Service Department at 212-608-0855. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard.

Effective immediately, SWAC has implemented a new level of criminal history reporting. Individuals who fail to meet “Secure Worker – High” criteria, may qualify for “Secure Worker – Limited” certification. For details regarding disqualifying criteria, please see “Background Screening Criteria – Version 3.4.0” on the About SWAC page at

Please note: Secure Worker - Limited certification is NOT accepted at all work sites. Check with your employer and worksite locations to see if Secure Worker - Limited certification is accepted.

Coronavirus update -- SWAC remains OPEN

Dear SWAC Customer
At SWAC, we are dedicated to providing our customers and individual members with secure, trusted, and reliable service. Aiding public safety and security is always our #1 priority. We are actively monitoring reports about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and want to assure our customers that our processing centers remain open. In support of good public health practices, our Agents are taking practical and important precautions. They are washing their hands regularly, and maintaining a clean workspace using antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizers. We are encouraging any SWAC Agent who exhibits symptoms to seek medical advice. We ask that your company and workers do the same. Please do not visit a SWAC center if you are not feeling well. Our cooperative efforts and courteous interaction will help keep our workplaces safe and our industry strong.
